Provadis Hochschule

Logo

The Provadis School of International Management and Technology AG (short: Provadis Hochschule) is the university of industry and offers dual and part-time science and business degree programs for more than 1,200 students throughout Germany. The interlinking of professional practice and studies, in particular the close content orientation towards the participating companies, is also appreciated by the employers of our students: 90% of the employers whose employees studied at Provadis Hochschule recommend the university to others.

The Provadis Hochschule is particularly distinguished by its applied research projects. These third-party funded projects enrich the content-related work, but also serve to transfer scientific findings from the university into corporate practice.

The Provadis Hochschule is a subsidiary of Provadis Partner für Bildung und Beratung GmbH, which in turn is a subsidiary of Infraserv GmbH & Co. Höchst KG.

Project tasks:

As part of the project, the Provadis Hochschule acts as the administrative office, coordinating and networking the individual activities and actively promoting the creation of an Innovation Space for bio-based solutions in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main metropolitan region.

DECHEMA e.V.

Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology e.V.

Logo

DECHEMA promotes scientific and technical exchange among experts from different disciplines, organizations, and generations.

DECHEMA e.V. is the expert network for chemical engineering and biotechnology in Germany. This non-profit professional society represents these fields in science, industry, politics, and society. They promote technical-scientific exchange between experts from different disciplines, organizations, and generations and consolidate the know-how of more than 5,800 individual and sustaining members.

The focus of the DECHEMA Raw Materials section focuses on sustainable raw materials management, which includes the process chains and the entire cycle of raw materials via extraction, preparation, processing, and the various forms of use and recycle. The aim is to ensure that industry is supplied with the necessary raw materials in a proactive manner. Aspects relating to the extraction of primary raw materials as well as technologies for the recovery and processing of secondary raw materials are paramount. In addition, potential savings through resource-efficient use of raw materials and possibilities for substitution, as well as the handling of residual materials, are of considerable importance. Legal framework conditions as well as consumer behavior play an important role in realizing a holistic approach for the sustainable use of raw materials. DECHEMA also offers continuous scientific exchange and practice-relevant advice in this field.

Project tasks:

DECHEMA examines the research, project, and industry landscape in the metropolitan region and analyzes the existing technologies and demanded requirements for an active matchmaking process. As part of the public relations work, milestones and networking events for the overall Innovation Space are organized, information material is produced, and this internet presence is maintained.

Support:

The project is supported by the BMBF funding measure "Innovation Spaces Bioeconomy" within the framework of the "National Research Strategy Bioeconomy 2030".
