In a series of keynotes, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research Germany (BMBF) will present the German bioeconomy strategy. The European Commission will give an overview of the European bioeconomy strategy with a special focus on the newly published "strategy on sustainable and circular textiles". The nova-Institute will elaborate on how regulation can create market pull for bio-based textiles and status quo of implementation in Europe and Germany”. Furthermore, all nine BIOTEXFUTURE projects will provide insights on how their research contributes to shaping the future of the bio-based textile value chain.
